Screen Shot 2013-06-02 at 1.37.23 PMI could not be more excited, and more grateful, than I am right now announcing that “Writing for You: A Novelist’s Guide to the Craft of Fiction” is ranked NUMBER ONE is Amazon’s “Writing Skills” category.

Sure, that’s number one in FREE books, which is less exciting for me than the paid list. On the other hand, I get to tell you:

The book is free until Friday! So please don’t miss out on the opportunity to download, gift, and spread the world about this awesome deal. Download from the link above.

Sweet, Sweet Screenshot!

  • Those who have spread the word
  • Those who take the time each week to drop by, read my ramblings, and leave your thoughts. I enjoy our back and forth so much!
  • Those who have encouraged me in my journey as a blogger, because this book is truly the culmination this blog.

Thank you ALL. Happy reading, and happy writing!

A terrific resource, and at no cost. Marvellous!

  11. I was more than grateful to see this free, even for a short time.

Reaching #1 is a huge deal, even in the free books market. It means your book has so much more exposure, and a very good chance of an increase in the number of reviews. And as soon as I have finished the book, I will definitely add to those reviews.

  12. I rushed off to get the FREEBIE and shared it around. Awesome to see how it shot up to number one! Well done. X

  13. Congratulations! That must feel great. Thank you for you wonderful contribution. ~ Michael

  14. Congrats, what a great resource you are sharing for free!

    • Thank you! I’m so excited people are taking the time to download and share. That’s exactly the reason I wrote the book…. to start a community of writers and encourage writers who are dealing with the issues I struggle with all the time!

  15. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Victoria!

I found your blog a couple of weeks ago when searching online for advice regarding a specific writing topic. So far your insights have proven both entertaining and useful; I’m very much looking forward to reading your book. Wishing you all the best of luck.

I just downloaded my free copy and would encourage you to grasp the chance to get this wonderful book for free :)

  22. So far i have read just the very first part of your preface and really enjoyed the feeling of getting to know who you are and where you’ve come from. It made me realise that life will often take an indirect route but one that allows you to gain so much more experience and knowledge. Just felt i should say a quick thank you for including a glimpse into your life as a writer and i have great respect for you making that hard decision to leave your course as it was clearly the right choice for it would be a true shame to let anything get in the way of your passion for writing :)
    sorry for the long post
